Had an accident with an uninsured or hit-and-run driver?
Navigate is the MIB's data platform and hosts Motor Insurance Policy Data (MIPD).
On 24 November the MIAFTR data service will be moved into Navigate, becoming Vehicle Salvage and Theft Data (VS&TD).
MIPD users:
If you're a Commercial or Fleet policyholder, please contact your Insurer Helpdesk in the first instance.
For any other Navigate enquiry, please log-in to the Navigate portal and click Help.

MIAFTR Portal Users:
We're creating new accounts for all existing MIAFTR portal users in Navigate.
If you're an existing MIAFTR portal user you'll receive an activation email from 3 November 2025 allowing you to activate your account and log-in ahead of Navigate VS&TD Go Live on 24 November.
