The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission has today (22 July 2016) intervened in the operations of Enterprise Insurance Company PLC. 

This means that Enterprise are now prohibited from making any payments unless previously authorised by the Commission.

At this stage it is not clear what this will mean for policyholders and third party victims.

Over the coming days we will be talking to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (www.fscs.org.uk) and other interested bodies to clarify the situation for those people who have a claim against an Enterprise policyholder.
