15/12/2025 - Thames Valley Police carried out a major operation in Milton Keynes on 11 December, seizing multiple uninsured vehicles in partnership with MIB (Motor Insurers’ Bureau). The crackdown took place in MIB’s home city, tackling uninsured driving to improve road safety as part of Operation Scalis.
12/12/2025 - Special Chief Inspector Samantha Wright was announced as the recipient of the first MIB (Motor Insurers’ Bureau) ‘Special Constable Award for Outstanding Contribution to Roads Policing’, presented at the Project EDWARD Parliamentary Reception.
28/11/2025 - On 26 November, nine West Midlands local policing areas targeted uninsured driving in a major one‑day operation in partnership with MIB (Motor Insurers’ Bureau), the not-for-profit that exists to protect people from the devastation of uninsured and hit-and-run drivers. The day resulted in 66 vehicles seized as they locked down Birmingham and surrounding areas.
