How Navigate Vehicle Salvage & Theft Data supports the fight against fraud

Vehicle Salvage & Theft Data (VS&TD) is an important resource in the fight against insurance fraud. It helps monitor vehicles written off for insurance purposes, to help trace and recover stolen vehicles and to help detect fraud.

Access to Navigate VS&TD is limited to subscribers, of which there are approximately 280. These include insurers, self-insured compensators (eg fleet companies), police forces and delegated authorities working on behalf of an existing subscriber (eg an insurer).
