A summer of support for testing begins

Supporting Portal testing every step of the way

A typical project would only test a new system with relatively few large customers (say 20%), expecting to identify most issues for relatively low cost and effort.

In replatforming MIAFTR, we recognise that we have many different customer types and sizes. Many of you would like the opportunity to test, see the changes and get confident that the new functionality is working for you. With that in mind, if you want to test, we’ve geared-up to support you!

We’ve already tested the Portal with internal MIB teams and nine customers with simple organisation structures. Eight organisations with the most complex MIAFTR interactions, have now also started Portal testing. Thank you if you’ve been part of this crucial testing phase – it’s helped us identify a few issues and streamline the process for the wider launch in June.

Portal testing has been arranged on a staggered basis. You will have been offered a week-long testing window within your allocated testing month between June and September. 77 organisations have already confirmed their slots in June and July. If you’re one of the few remaining customers that still needs to book a week in June, please reach out to us urgently!

You'll be offered a briefing workshop before the start of your test window and then asked to sign-off, after testing, that the Navigate portal functionality meets your organisation’s needs.

If you decline the offer of testing, you'll be asked to confirm this in writing.

Do get in touch with your dedicated engagement team member at engagement@mib.org.uk for any questions or support.
