We're moving MIAFTR data into Navigate on Monday 24 November 2025. From that data, all existing MIAFTR users will access this data from the MIB's Navigate platform.
-
When does MIAFTR data Go Live in Navigate?
-
What testing and reassurance activities are you doing in the background to make sure this migration and Go-Live will work?
We've already completed a Proof of Concept for our data migration approach and will now be preparing to action multiple dry-runs of data migration between now and the end of September, including after that a final dress-rehearsal.
This ensures that we both validate the data is migrating correctly, and practice our process for moving the data efficiently at Go-Live
We're also actioning a parallel-run – which means that behind the scenes we are ingesting data from your current inputs to Solera and ensuring that we are processing those inputs in the same way.
-
Where can I find more information about Go-Live weekend 21-24 November?
We've shared the schedule for our Go-Live weekend here. We're hosting a webinar on 7 October to share more on this.
-
What's being done to ensure MIPD functionality won’t be impacted by the MIAFTR Go-Live if anything goes wrong?
We're running full regression, penetration and performance testing, across both products, to make sure that VS&TD (MIAFTR) Go Live does not affect MIPD.
-
What is the rollback plan?
During our Go Live weekend and for a short period of time after Go-Live, our rollback plan is to revert to MIAFTR which is hosted by Solera.
If this is necessary, Portal users would be instructed to log-in to MIAFTR if a rollback was implemented. API users would need to repoint their integration to Solera (if they’ve already switched) to continue operations.
-
Where are the training resources?
We have a growing range of training materials including user guides, demo videos to support Navigate users.
