All API Customers will be required to counduct customer testing over the Go Live Weekend. The details of personnel and type of support required has been outlined in the Readiness Plan already shared with all API customers.
-
As part of the Go Live actions, do you need any support from us and to be available for API Customer Testing on 22/11 and 23/11?
-
Will MIAFTR API v1 be running while you're deploying API v2?
No. The MIAFTR API v1will be unavailable from 12 noon on Friday 21 November, ahead of the Go Live weekend activity. The Navigate API v2 for VS&TD will be deployed and available from 12 noon on Monday 21 November.
-
Can I confirm that the current test window is for regression checking in UAT, or is it for us to check the Live API credentials and connections work?
All API customers have now confirmed that they have completed both Smoke Testing and Production Connectivity Testing with their live API credentials. This test window is therefore now complete.
Should customers wish to access the CVT environment for any additional testing, you should be aware that we're making planned updates that we expect might impact the availability, stability and performance.
If API customers wish to conduct further testing whilst deploying their VS&TD API integrated code, please let us know so we can work with you to agree a slot when the environment is stable and suitable for your needs
-
If we're not currently an API user when can you support us to connect? Will it be 2025?
Please contact our engagement team at engagement@mib.org.uk to discuss available options.
-
When do you expect is the earliest new API connection available post Go Live?
To assist your integration with MIAFTR V2, we currently anticipate its availability in the second quarter of 2026.
We're committed to providing you with the finalised API specification in early June 2025 to enable thorough review and effective development planning.
