Navigate operates efficiently and securely on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Windows only), and Safari (macOS only). Please use the latest official version for the best experience. For more information relating to supported browsers for the Navigate portal, please click here.

  6. What is an Organisation ID?

An Organisation ID in Navigate is what was previously known as “Subscriber Code” in the former MIAFTR.

It's a unique 7-digit number assigned to organisations which helps identify an Organisation and determine access rights for enquiring, supplying and updating claims.

If you have any queries please fill out a Contact Us form in Navigate.

  7. How will I access my Organisation ID (previously known as Subscriber Code) in the Navigate Portal to manage claims under that ID?

All IDs associated with your Organisation, or that your Organisation has Delegated Authority to manage claims for, are accessible through your single Navigate portal log-in. you can switch between different Organisation IDs once logged into the Navigate portal.

  8. How do I request a sub-code change?

If you need to make any changes to your Organisation's details, including name, or Supply codes & their statuses, please raise a request to MIB using the Contact Us button in Navigate.

  9. Can I allocate specific Organisation IDs to certain teams or users, or restrict access to certain IDs through the Navigate portal?

No, in the Navigate portal, the allocation of Organisation IDs (previously known as Subscriber codes) is no longer possible.

You will have access to all Organisation IDs associated with your Organisation, or those your Organisation has Delegated Authority to manage claims for.

  10. I’m a Management User, do I need to reset my users' passwords?

Navigate is designed for users to be able to self-serve and reset your own passwords independently. If you need further support please raise a Contact Us form.

  11. I already use Navigate for MIPD, will I need to reset my password?

No, existing users of the Navigate portal for MIPD will not need to do anything with their account, and will have access to VS&TD added from Go Live.

  12. I already have a Navigate login, will I need a second login to access Vehicle Salvage and Theft Data in Navigate?

No, well be updating your access as part of the MIAFTR user migration, so that you can access both MIPD and VS&TD tiles in the Navigate portal using your single login from Go-Live.

  13. Why am I asked to do 2FA authentication every time I login?

When you log in and complete two-factor authentication (2FA), our MIB Services can remember your device for up to 28 days. This means you won’t be asked for 2FA again during that time if you’re using the same device and browser.

However, this only works if your browser allows MIB Services to save a small file called a cookie. Some organisations have browser settings that block or delete these cookies, for example, if your browser clears cookies when you close it or if you’re using private/incognito mode. In those cases, MIB Services won’t be able to remember your device, and you may be asked for 2FA each time you login.

If this is happening, please reach out to your IT team. They can help check your browser settings or advise on your organisation’s security policies.

  14. Who is responsible for managing Navigate users?

The Organisation Administrator (Org Admin) from your own organisation is responsible for managing users.
