Welcome to the hub for all the information you need about Navigate - the platform for Motor Insurance Policy Data (MIPD) and Vehicle Salvage & Theft Data (VS&TD).
We've moved data from the former Motor Insurance Database (MID) into Navigate - our cloud data platform with a unified user portal.
Vehicle Salvage and Theft Data from the Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR) moved into Navigate on 24 November 2025.
