During 2024, MIB has led a series of multi-force operations along the leangth of major road networks in the UK. 

The approach enabled the forces to collaborate across borders, ensuring that uninsured drivers had nowhere to hide. Support from MIB meant that forces were able to allocate additional road policing and specials officers, as well as control room operatives and intel staff. 

Operation M4 and Operation M62 seized a total of over 100 uninsured vehicles, with Operation M8 seeing an additional 34 vehicles seized.

The three operations also saw 181 additional offences identified, from drink and drug driving, stolen vehicles, disqualified drivers or those with no/expired driving licence, and numerous uses of mobile phones whilst driving. On average, over 30% of those seized also presented with a secondary offence.
