The Motor Insurers' Bureau is expanding its team that provides police forces with a telephone support service.
It's really interesting and challenging work, helping the police to remove the menace of uninsured driving from our roads.
We are currently looking for Customer Helpdesk Representatives to work on the MIB Police Helpline and provide this important service to the police. The Helpline operates from 08:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays. The hours of operation are covered on a shift rota and therefore applicants will need to be flexible with regards to their working hours.
Applicants will need the following:
* experience of working in a customer service role, ideally within a call centre/insurer environment
* good attention to detail
* excellent telephone manner and communications skills
* computer literacy
* experience of a practical application of the Data Protection Act
* ability to work on their own initiative
These jobs are supported by an excellent benefits package, with full-time salaries circa £15,300 pa depending on experience, a minimum of 23 days holiday, a potential bonus of up to 15% of salary, a contributory pension scheme, contribution towards private medical healthcare and gym membership, plus free parking.
