Before joining the MIB in 2002 I spent 12 years with the NFU Mutual and Avon Insurance Group. I love the varied nature of my work, and I like to be busy, and there is always lots to be done.
It's important to me that I feel I am making a real difference, and the MIB gives me the freedom to express myself and my ideas. We face a lot of challenges in the future, and for my department a closer liaison of the Technical & Services Claims areas will provide the opportunity to introduce a dynamic coaching regime. Coaching is a tremendously powerful tool in helping people to learn, in providing confidence, and in creating individuals who want to take action to improve how they work and relate to others.
