New Crackdown on uninsured drivers

“Uninsured drivers are six times more likely to have been convicted of driving unroadworthy vehicles than honest motorists and nine times more likely to have been convicted of drink-driving.  In addition, it’s highly likely that their vehicles have no MOTs, are untaxed and are generally unroadworthy. By cracking down on these drivers, we should also make our roads safer for everyone else to use.”
