Trevor is a chartered insurer and joined the Bureau in 1997 after spending over thirty years with Midland Assurance and Eagle Star. His career has spanned both commercial and personal lines business mainly in the claims area encompassing both technical and management roles.

As technical manager he was given the brief to develop a team capable of handling catastrophic injury cases in preparation for when all claims became handled in-house.

Trevor was responsible for the development of the new corporate image including the website, intranet and the Guide to Good Claims Practice.  Current responsibilities extend to heading up a technical team that sets technical policies and authorities.

He is involved in a number of industry initiatives as well as being responsible for technical issues arising from the Green Card Bureau and the Council of Bureau which regulates claims involving foreign registered vehicles.
