Neil has over 20 years insurance knowledge gathered in a number of technical roles together with periods in training and project areas, all with a blue chip insurer. He has a sound knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance market and their products.

Neil then moved to the world of consultancy in late 2000 successfully establishing the Motor Insurers’ Information Centre as an operational unit during 2001. Multi stakeholder project experience has been gained through supporting delivery of the requirements of the Motor Insurance Database’s business programme. Management Services contracts with CTK consultants saw Neil assume the head of MIIC operations role in early 2003 and transferred in this role to become a permanent member of the MIB staff, becoming the Head of MID Compliance & Enforcement Services at the MIB in January 2008.
