What is the UK Guarantee Fund?

The MIB operates the UK Guarantee Fund that compensates victims of negligent uninsured or untraced drivers and who have no other source of compensation.

The MIB compensates the victims in accordance with agreements that it has signed with the Governments of the jurisdictions in which it operates.

The MIB acts as the Guarantee Fund in the following Territories:

England, Scotland, and Wales
Northern Ireland
Isle of Man
Alderney
Guernsey
Jersey
Sark
Gibraltar
